In particular, Boryung Tradition Fishery received Forestry and Fisheries Minister Prize in October 1992 because it shortened the distribution process by quality, participated in the goverment-sponsered events and direct trading markets, and contributed to the development of fishery processed foods. Boryung Tradition Fishery was awarded A Traditional Food Material Certificate by The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries and has continued its efforts to develop traditional fishery products.
